Hi, Alec, I sure hope you can answer this question. No one else seems to know. My daughter and I have identical sweatshirts. They are poly/cotton, all white with a green lining in the hood. When I laundered hers following the directions on the tag (wash inside-out with cold water), the green from the hood bled all over the white and the shirt was ruined. Now I need to launder my identical shirt, but I am afraid to do so for fear of the bleeding that would occur. Do you know of anything I can do to this sweatshirt prior to washing it, so that it doesn't bleed? A friend told me to soak it in salt water. Another told me to soak it in vinegar. I don't want to try these fixes for fear that they really aren't fixes. Any suggestions from your end? Thank you, Susan
